Unit 1 Final Assignment

Today, students were introduced to the final assignment for Unit 1. This is an important assignment so please use your class time to the fullest.

For this assignment, you will choose any MAJOR volcano, earthquake, or tsunami to research and create a scrapbook/ report about. Be creative- your assignment can be created digitally or by hand. Be sure to follow THIS marking criteria.

You will have THREE class periods to complete this assignment, and it is due MONDAY, OCT. 7th. 

You may email your assignment to me or hand it in directly on Monday at the start of class.

Rocket Man

We have a very EXCITING guest speaker “blasting into” our classroom on October 16… Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield! Today we were introduced to him and students were given an opportunity to submit questions to him for the upcoming video conference.
